CALLED TO ENJOYMENT

Matthew 22:4
Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and [my] fatlings [are] killed, and all things [are] ready:
come unto the marriage.
Luke 14:17
And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden, Come; for all things are now ready.
What a call! All you have to do is to answer this call. So for the child of God that has answered this call, he has consented to leave in PLENTY and not in lack. This is why a child of God should not be the one that is in need, but the one that is meeting the need of others.
He said “Come, ALL THINGS ARE READY”.
It’s like when you’re organizing a party, you’d first think, “what is it that my guest would probably need”, then you begin to make them available, from the drinks, to the food, transportation, accommodation, the convenience and everything possible. The bible said this is how the kingdom is.
Matthew 22:2-4
The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son, And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come. Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and [my] fatlings [are] killed, and all things [are] ready: come unto the marriage.

God is the king, before you were born, he knew you were coming
Jeremiah 1:5
"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you…”(NIV)
So  everything you’d ever need to live the God life, he made it available. It was not after you were born that God started creating the air that you need, ALL THINGS were ready before you were born physically. In the same vein, all that you need to live the triumphant Christian life has also been made available.
2 Peter 1:3
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:(KJV)
I particularly love this scripture in the MSG translation
2 Peter 1:3
Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received!(MSG).

So you see “Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us” this is why a Christian should not be the one in lack, or the one begging people for things.

Psalm 37:25
I have been young, and [now] am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
Why?
1 Corinthians 3:21
… For all things are yours;
So you should not be the one asking for help, you should be the one giving help to the needy.
Clearly, it is an error for a Christian to pray “O God bless me”. How else do you want him to bless you. He told you he has given you everything that is required for you to live the good and God life.
2 Peter 1:3
God's divine power has given us everything we need to live a truly religious life through our knowledge of the one who called us to share in his own glory and goodness.(GNT)
2 Peter 1:3
By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence.(NLT)
So the truly Godly life is a life of enjoyment
John 10:10
The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).(AMP)
So,Jesus came that we might have and enjoy life; Being born again, does not remove “glory” from your life, it’s a call to a life of enjoyment.
But you might say, “how come it’s not working in my life”

2 Peter 1:3
God's divine power has given us everything we need to live a truly religious life through our knowledge of the one who called us to share in his own glory and goodness. GNT

This explains how God is you’re going to live in this life of enjoyment you’ve been called into.
“through our knowledge of the one who called us to share in his own glory and goodness”
You have to know the king that has organized this ceremony. The knowledge of the person that invited you to the ceremony that you have would affect how much you’d take from the party. Some are in the party dying of thirst because they do not know that the one that invited them to this dinner provided more than enough water for all the guest and much more. There’s surplus food and drink, yet someone dying of hunger. So it’s important you know the one that has called you to this life of enjoyment. The knowledge will naturally take you away from being sorrowful to living in perpetual joy.

Jesus says “I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows).”
When this knowledge of the king is inside you, the next thing you do is to enforce it in your life. Refuse to live like a pauper; you were invited by the king into this dinner

2 Peter 1:3
According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that [pertain] unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue: KJV

Matthew 22:3
He sent out servants to call in all the invited guests…(MSG)

2 Peter 1:3
Everything that goes into a life of pleasing God has been miraculously given to us by getting to know, personally and intimately, the One who invited us to God. The best invitation we ever received! (MSG)

So as you know the father, take what is yours, enforce it in your life.

say to yourself (say it loud enough to yourself, so that even you can hear you)
“I AM THE HEAD, I’M NOT THE TAIL
THE LIFE OF GLORY IS MINE
I REFUSE TO LIVE IN LACK AND WANT
ABUNDANCE IS MINE
I HAVE ENOUGH TO EAT AND TO SPARE
MY LIFE IS FULL OF GLORY AND VIRTUE
BECAUSE I HAVE RECEIVED AN INVITATION TO HAVE AND ENJOY LIFE”
