Can you imagine sick people folowing Jesus into the coast of Judea beyond Jordan. Imagine someone with a pain in his chest, yet he follows the lord for hours. But the good news is this; ... and he healed them THERE! After they had journeyed with the lord.
This same principle is very much valid today. Whatsoever you want from the LORD or in your walk with the LORD you have to learn to FOLLOW. Don't lead him; let him do the leading, all you have to do is just FOLLOW.
He has been on this earth before you ever got here. He knows where the money is, he knows where HE kept the gold, the oil, the diamonds and all the precious stones.
It doesnt matter where you're or where you want to get to, that change is in following the word of God. It is wisdom to follow the manufacturer's instruction in the manual.
The bible says
Psa 100:3 Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
So God is our manufacturer. The bible said 'he made us', we did not make ourselves. 'We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture'
Jn 10: 27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me.
We are the sheep of his pasture (Psm 100:3) so we are to follow his leading, not lead him. Some persons start businesses and tell the lord 'lord, prosper me in this business'. The question is who led you there?. The answer is not far fetched; you led yourself. Because someone told you the business was very juicy, you jumped straight off into it. After encountering losses, you start fasting and praying. Why are you punishing yourself? God will not change his word because of you.
Rom 8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
The attribute of the sons of God is that they are led by the spirit of God. They are not the ones leading God.
You know, some persons act like 'God's elder brother'- they say things like 'God i'm travelling to Las Vegas, keep the road safe'. Some others are bluntly going against scriptures under the guise of religion, 'O God, please bless this business that I have decided to do, in Jesus name'. The truth is this, if he led you into starting that business, you don't need to pray for him to keep it. The business is kept by his word because 'he upholds all things by the word of his power' Heb 1:3.
What was Jesus looking for in his disciples?
Mt 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
Jesus needed 'followers' he could make leaders. You know too much, why not follow what the word of God says about that situation. You claim to be a christian, but your life is still ruled by you. 'You still want to marry that brother, though he's an unbeliever', 'You still want to keep that association though you know it takes you away from God'. You have built up your own walls of legislations that even God cannot break, yet you lift your hands and sing 'I love you LORD, with all my heart...' What a lie.
Do you know the meaning of the word LORD?
It means, you don't own you, afterall you didn't make you. He made us, he owns us so he expects us to live by HIS words and not by ours. With him you're everything. David said 'with you i ran through a troop'
Psa 18:29 For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
Yet you think you can 'lead' this God. Brothers and Sisters. He is God. Let him lead, just sit as a passenger and enjoy the ride. Let go of you, take a hold of him!
He is all you need to be a success.
The way out of that predicament is in following him wherever he leads.

Job 13:15 Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him:
O lord! Wherever you lead, i'll trust you enough to follow. Whether it makes sense to my mind or not as long as you say it, i will follow. Though the process seem strenous and energy sapping, i will follow you. Speak Lord, I am here to do whatever you want me to do because I am your love slave. My joy is in pleasing you, though my flesh may feel pained, but there's so much joy in me, Lead Lord, I am FOLLOWING.
